ABOUT US

Marchwood Guinea Pig Boarding is run by Deborah, on the edge of the New Forest in the village of Marchwood and is the ‘younger sister’ of our original dog walking company, Forest Pet Services which was set up in 2009.

Now in our 8th year of boarding, I specialise in guinea pig holidays for indoor piggies, but I also offer boarding for plenty of other types of small pets too!

We are based in the peaceful village of Marchwood, a few minutes’ drive from the New Forest and Southampton.

I have over 30 years’ personal experience of pet ownership and care.

BOARDING

I offer experienced, safe and insured holiday boarding for the following:

  • guinea pigs in indoor hutches (outdoor day runs available) on our own fleece bedding
  • hamsters and gerbils
  • tortoises : Hermann, Horsefield, Spur Thigh & Russian species (between April – October only)
  • budgies and parrots
  • pet rats
  • Sorry we can’t board rabbits, ferrets, bearded dragons or poultry due to space

ACCOMODATION

We have a safe, quiet, centrally heated indoor pet boarding room for guinea pigs and small furries, and a peaceful garden. We have smoke alarms and CCTV for peace of mind. Of course, we are non smoking and there is private access for drop off and collection of your pet.

There are enclosed individual outdoor runs on grass available for guinea pigs and tortoises during good weather.

Birds will be boarded safely in the house.

We have 6 large custom built indoor guinea pig hutches and runs, plus table tops for other types of cages.
