Since 2009, we have seen a steady increase in tortoise guests and have built up experience and knowledge. We have dedicated facilities for their stay so you know they will be properly cared for.
- Indoor tortoise table with Solar UV Basking bulb for end of season chilly days (smaller tortoises only – size suitable for occasional use)
- Daytime enclosed garden tortoise runs with appropriate enrichment & shelter
- Tortoise safe fresh food provided by us (please bring any dry food)
- All tortoises are brought indoors at night to ensure their safety and wellbeing
- Environment and care tailored to breed requirements
- Supervised free roaming time where appropriate
- Supervised shallow baths as appropriate
- All you need to bring is your tortoise and any usual dry food. We will provide everything else for their stay.
- We don’t currently have space for full time indoor or over-wintering tortoises, but we’re working on it! Expected September 2025.
